Join us each Sunday beginning January 6th for a new series. This series will occur during the CenTered service at 8:45 in the CFC as well as the traditional service at 11 a.m. In the series we will be looking at the very foundation for all Christian relationships. Jesus taught the greatest commandment is “Love the Lord your God with all your heart band with all your soul and with all your mind and with all your strength. The second is this, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (Mark 12:30,32). That’s a tall order but essential for a sustained relationship.
We were never meant to be alone. We were created for community and to live in community. We depend on others and others draw strength form us! The church is one such relationship that is essential for us to be fully human. It is in the life of the church we can find meaning and strength.
As we begin this new year may we develop greater friendships and support systems around us. May we be the kind of friend others need to thrive.
All are welcome to join in each Sunday morning now through February 24th 10am - 10:45am in Classroom #3. In this series we'll identify what matters to God and find a way to incorporate those activities into our busy lifestyle. Each of the eight weekly sessions will focus on a topic that's important but easy to put on the back burner. Gleaning from the book of Proverbs and the example of Jesus, this study will help us avoid empty, unfulfilling busyness and devote your time to the pursuits that matter most in life.
New leaders each week bring forth a new perspective and style. Won't you join us?
Join us for a hot dog meal beginning at 6 p.m. with a musical program from 7-9. Music is a sing-a-long variety of old hymns and gospel music. For more information see our dedicated Pickin' & Grinnin' page.
