In our children’s ministry, we are partnering with parents and guardians to raise the next generation of believers and servants! To do this in an engaging way, we use a wide variety of missions, music, arts and crafts, discipleship, and just plain fun. Our children are learning the fundamentals of our faith while developing a strong spiritual foundation.

My church brings me together with God. It helps me know why God made this earth and why we need to be kind. I think that we should show people love because that’s what God wants us to do. Our church is special because it is Gods house and we need to respect His house. - Lilly L.
SUNDAY SCHOOL
We offer Sunday School each Sunday morning from 10-10:45 a.m. for children beginning in Kindergarten through 5th grade. Our children participate in an innovative program called Rotation Sunday School in which each Sunday the children rotate through a variety of stations using different learning styles to internalize Bible stories effectively.
Our nurseries (newborns-4 year olds) specific curriculum geared toward their particular ages, learning about Jesus through Bible stories. Newborns and toddlers meet in the Nursery I classroom, while children ages 3 & 4 meet in the Nursery II class. Both of these Nursery classes are located on the first floor, down the main hallway across from one another. Our K-3rd grade class, as well as 4th & 5th grades meet downstairs.

Kindergarden-3rd Grade: Basement Classrooms.
Grades 4th & 5th: Basement classrooms, 2nd door on left. Our awesome Nursery leaders provide care for both services!
CHILDREN'S CHOIR
All Children ages preschool to 4th grade are invited to ba apart of the Children's choir. Each Sunday during the 11 a.m. Traditional service, the children perform. (From September through May). Choir practice is each Wednesday night from 6:30-7 p.m. in the Sanctuary. Please contact Molly Long or visit our Staff page for additional details. Our Childrens choir provides music during the traditional service
CHILDREN'S CHURCH
Children’s Church is available each Sunday for the Traditional Services at 11 AM. Children’s Church is for children ages Kindergarten through 2nd grade and teaches kids fun and different ways to worship God, while still focusing on our current sermon series for a kid’s perspective. The children will gather during the "Children's Time" during the 11 AM service, then are dismissed to Children's Church.
The children may be picked up from Children’s Church in the downstairs classrooms when the service is over.

JAM Kids
J.A.M. Kids ( Jesus And Me) is a great group of kids Kindergarten through 2nd Grade who love learning about Jesus. We meet the third Sunday of each month in the Children’s basement from 3-5pm to worship, fellowship, play games, make crafts and enjoy learning more about what Jesus can do in their lives!

JOY Kids

JOY Kids is our ministry for 3rd thru 5th grade. We meet the 3rd Sunday of every month from 3:00 - 5:00 PM in the CFC. We have a bible lesson with coordinating games and crafts. JOY Kids will participate in missions, field trips and our annual lock-in.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
Each year Center UMC features an exciting and adventerous Children's Vacation Bible School. Typically the dates are mid-late July and is available for pre-kindergarten through High School. Each evening a meal is provided.
